Virgin Money is a financial services company founded in 1995. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Virgin Group and recognizes the Group Head Sir Richard Branson as its founder. Virgin Money launched as Virgin Direct offering Personal Equity Plans in partnership with Norwich Union. In 2000, the Virgin Group created a price comparison website.
