Enjoy platinum benefits and highly competitive interest on the RBS Platinum Credit Card. Existing Royal Bank of Scotland customers are entitled to a 18 month 0% balance transfer period and with a 2.8% balance transfer fee, it's very easy to transfer high interest debt and pay back in a way that suits your finance. Balance transfer from another credit card issued by the Royal Bank of Scotland is not permitted.
Another 6 month 0% period exists during which no interest applies on everyday purchases. The intro period on balance transfers and purchases may gain irrelevance when a cardholder pays late or exceeds the credit limit.
As RBS cardholder you qualify for 56 days of interest free credit on purchases. And no annual fee is charged. Comprehensive protection against online fraud and identity fraud give peace of mind when shopping online. With Online Account Access, you no longer have to wait for financial statements in the mail. Just use a PC connected to the internet, log into a secure interface, and there would be a comprehensive listing of transactions waiting for review.
Cardholders may include an authorized user by ordering an additional card for free. Note that additional cards are directly linked to the basic card and the cardholder is held responsible for repaying any balance accrued. Yet another useful feature this platinum card has to offer is "money transfers by phone". Cardholders are permitted to transfer credit from the credit card to a UK bank account with a minimum GBP 250 by phone.
Busy cardholders may organise travel for private or business purpose with a single phone call. There are discounts to gain on flight bookings, car rentals, and airport car parking. Cardholders on international travel requiring medical help overseas can receive essential treatment with a service that's dedicated to organizing medical transport on your behalf.
The RBS Platinum Credit Card is an ideal credit card for the working class individual. Cardholders can ask RBS to review the credit limit after six months in charge. MasterCard holders have access to extra benefits that include 10% on HP UK products, 10% with Superbreak (UK's foremost short break operator) and 20% on purchases at Buyagift.com.
